Cyborg imagery can suggest a way out of the maze of dualisms in which we have explained our bodies and our tools to ourselves.(Donna Haraway, A Cyborg Manifesto, 1990) Nowadays, humans are connecting through information transfer in binary codes. As in shamanic rituals, a joint between human bodies and non-human creatures is created, allowing an experience which exceeds reality to emerge. The artwork imagines the possible methods of communication in future and the necessity of building a connection with silicon-based life forms. On the other side of a coin, the boundaries defining human is becoming more and more indistinct. In Mark Fisher’s words, “The actual near future wasn’t about Capital stripping off its latex mask and revealing the machinic death’s head beneath; it was just the opposite: New Sincerity, Apple Computers advertised by kitschy-cutesy pop.”(Terminator vs. Avatar, 2010)
